Aspartame — Sweet Poison? Aspartame — Sweet Poison?.

Received an email from a friend of mine to day with this WARNING.

Here’s what says.

You’ll have to go there cause they no longer let you copy and paste their work.  They need you to visit their site so they’ll get the ‘click’ for their advertiser and they’ll make some money.

They do say it’s FALSE.

  1. I have fibromyalgia, arthritis, diabetes, have had heart attack. Try to use Silver Sneakers, diet, etc., to counter ill health as I can’t take meds very much. Like probiotics; wish ins.’s would include accupuncture as it helped me terrifically. Born w/spinal bifida (spinal cord outside spinal column — w/hole that took 3+ back surgeries to close). I DO hurt terribly and also have great granddaughter with bad ADHD (or something) which nearly killed her taking meds (Ridalin gave her heart trouble.) Can’t help believing negative comments on diet stuff.

aspartame can be dangerous to ones health specially if you have sensitive to it. it is still better to use natural alternatives like stevia. –

Aspartame is a low calorie sweetener that tastes exactly like sugar. It is approximately 200 times sweeter than sugar, which has been used in soft drinks and other low-calorie or sugar-free foods throughout the world for more than 25 years. Made from two building blocks of protein just like those found naturally in many everyday foods such as meat, fish, cheese, eggs and milk. Aspartame is digested by the body in exactly the same way as these other protein foods.:
