Not surprised in the least. I knew it wouldn’t be long before this kind of junk would become part of the curriculum of our Public Schools. When you have Liberals in charge you can expect more and more of this trash being forced in to our kids minds.
It isn’t bad enough that our children today have to see this ungodly behavior on tv and every where else they look, now it will be taught to them and probably they’ll be tested on what they have learned.
I hope the people of Calif will stand up to this ‘forced educational material’ and pull their kids out of the Public School System. I’m sure there will be churches and other type private schools started that they can attend. Maybe Home Schooling will see a large spike in Calif and the Public School System will be forced to shut down. Get rid of the union thug teachers and the text books and you’ll save the State several million dollars. Since they are in serious financial trouble, this would be a wonderful help to them.
California’s governor has signed into law legislation that requires the state’s public schools to teach on the contributions of lesbian, “gay,” bisexual and transgender individuals.
The only thing they have contributed is HIV/AIDS. Isn’t that something to be proud of?
Yesterday, Gov. Jerry Brown signed S.B. 48, making California the first state in the country to pass such legislation. The law, authored by homosexual Senator Mark Leno of San Francisco, requires that textbooks be re-written to include information about LGBT Americans and present them in a positive light.
Uh yeah, right. In order to present anything about homosexuality in a positive light is to rewrite the textbooks and lie their tails off while doing it.
Commentators warn that the measure, which requires no parental notification and does not allow parents to opt their children out, will affect students as you[ng] as six years old. But Earl DeVries, a former candidate for state Senate, explains that other schools will be affected as well because California is one of the states that purchases the most textbooks.
So parents/guardians will have no say and will not be notified that their six (6) year old child is being taught all the great things about being a Queer. Yep, that’s a hard term to call them but according to the Dictionary queer means: strange or odd from a conventional viewpoint; unusually different; if anything these people are unusually different.
And because Calif is one of the largest buyer of text books, they get to direct what other schools, in the Public sector, teach their children. Maybe it’s also time to start some new publishing companies. Nothing like creating new jobs right now.
“I feel sorry for those states because we’ve not done a good job defending our families and our children, and we have the wrong kind of people in Sacramento,” he laments. “And this is the consequence of our lack of involvement.”
Brown announced in a written statement that the bill “revises existing laws that prohibit discrimination in education,” and he urged that “history should be honest.” The governor further assured that the law represents an important step forward for the state of California, but DeVries disagrees.
“Well, it really isn’t,” he contends. “Of course, their ultimate agenda is to normalize homosexuality, [but] the Lord says that’s wrong. And we are going to be suffering the consequences of those decisions now.”
Randy Thomasson, president of SaveCalifornia.com, helped lead the opposition to S.B. 48. He reports that it is California’s eighth school sexual indoctrination law that forces immorality on K-12 students. He also points out that the bill prohibits teachers and textbooks from “telling children that homosexuality has the highest rate of HIV/AIDS and other STDs, higher cancer rates, and earlier deaths.”
Yep, rewrite the textbooks because the teachers are prohibited from teaching the kids what’s true and correct about this abominable ‘life style’.
So he encourages parents to take their kids out of the public education system and explore different options, including church schools and home school.
